Money to Inmates

Each inmate has their own "bank account" while in jail. This money is used to purchase needed items from the Commissary. Money from family and friends can be paid in to your account via a money order, cash or check. Be sure your inmate ID is on a check or money order. The maximum amount that can be received in a month is $290.00.

If an inmate is presently taking any medication, you can bring it to the Jail Office for the Medical Unit to verify that the person has a prescription for it. If so, the medication will be turned over to the Jail Nurse or Physician for review, and dispensed at the discretion of the Medical Unit.
